Sage Geotech Inc. was formed in 2003 to offer the services of a veteran team of professionals who each have over 30 years of hands-on-experience, gained while employed by major mining and energy companies, or related service companies.  This small team of seasoned professionals offer world-class experience to our clients. We offer consulting services by the day or by the project, whichever best meets the needs of the client. We can do the hands on work or we can assist the client in the oversight of other consultants and contractors. We are low-key team players willing to help the client in whatever way is needed. We are "industry guys" with years of experience in the trenches. Because our overhead is low, you will find our rates are very reasonable.

The experience of the Sage team has benefited numerous clients in ways that have saved the client time and money and helped avoid costly mistakes or unwise decisions. Based on our experience ("been there, done that") we are aware of things tried in the past that have or have not worked. OIL SHALE---While each Sage Geotech associate brings multiple talents to the client's project and years of industry experience, the team members became acquainted while working on oil shale projects in the United States over the past 35 years. Projects encompassed both western and eastern oil shale deposits. Services cover the entire spectrum from geology to mining to retorting to upgrading to refining and marketing. Sage Geotech is headquartered in Rifle, Colorado, which has been the center of oil shale activity in the United States for over 50 years. Sage Geotech is a sustaining member of the National Oil Shale Association.
